Brief information

The team was organized in 2005, in 2006 formation of a new football team was ended. In our region women football has a quite long history- in the beginning of the 1980s there were 2 teams in regional towns & 1 in Perm (WFC Kama, 1st  Footbal Division of USSR), which played with the teams from the Urals.

New Perm team was created on the basis of Perm Olympic Reserve School. Players selection for “Zvezda-2005” for the season of 2006 was organized by the former first coach Sergey Chebanov and in short time the team was successfully equipped.

So the team began to act at once in three championships - the Championship of Russia, the Cup of Russia and the Championship of Perm Region. The first aim was to occupy at least 2nd place in First Division and reach ½ of the Cup.

In regional Championship “Zvezda-2005” won all the matches and got gold medals.

By results of 2006 the team got a place in elite Leage. The coach place was occupied by Alexander Grigorian, sport manager- Stanislav Kharitonov. The season of 2007 became “gold” one, red-yellow Perm club won the regular Championship (16 games, 15 won, 1 drawn, 46 points- the best result for a “freshmen” of the Leage) and the Cup- the so called “gold double”. So “Zvezda-2005” got a right to participate in Euro Cup (the first  amongst provincial teams). Besides all the matches with participation of the club caused the big spectator interest- on the average from 3000 up to 4000 spectators on each match.

In season of 2008 (after 1st round) the team occupies the 1 place (6 games- 6 won, 18 points).

In the club there are 10 players from the national teams of Russia & Ukraine.

In addition it is necessary to mention that in Perm Olympic Reserve School now there are 30 girls (born in 1991-95) are being trained and engaged in school.
